Starting from this session and some next sessions, you are going to deal with procedure texts. In these sessions you are going to learn what a text procedure is, its communicative purpose, its language features, and what belongs to a procedure text. Specifically, you are expected to be able to identify the topic, communicative purpose, the reason why the text is made, who likely makes the text/access the text, etc. You are supposed to learn not only a single text, but more than one text, because you are expected to compare procedure texts.
